First place on the table

Tewantin Noosa Bowls – Green Master
Night Pennant: Tewantin Noosa was successful defeating Kawana 3 rinks to 2 and remains in second place on the Table.
This week will be exciting as it is playing first place on the Table Coolum at home on Monday night.
Noosa Discount Drug store. Tuesday Ladies, Mixed Triple winners were Valmae Lynch, Mary Williams and Yvonne Ambrey (11 ends + 16).
Runners up were Min Morris, Dossie Buckley and Julie Anderson (13 ends + 7).
Ladies Consistency Championship. Congratulations to Van Vignon in defeating Carol McAskill in a close and hard fought final.
Noosa Discount Drug store. Wednesday Men’s, Pairs winners were Peter Renwick and Wayne Pendergast (2 wins + 24).
Pairs runners up were Alan Shaw and Bob Schofield (1 win +12).
Triples winners were Rick McDonald, Sno Jocelyn and Jim McDonald (1 win + 15).
The jackpot $60 was won by teams Watt and Crosby.
Laguna Estate. Friday Open Triples winners were Min Morris, Peter Richardson and John Watt.
Runners up were Tony Taylor, Carol Moynahan and Irene Land.
The $63 jackpot was not won and carries over.
The RSL bowls final is on Monday 24 November at Tewantin where teams Clamp and Cook will do battle in the last round.
The Christmas luncheon is on Tuesday 16 December at Tewantin RSL Club.
The Titanic Shield is on Friday night at 6pm when the Championship winners of Tewantin Noosa will be taking on the Championship winners of Noosa Heads at Noosa Heads Bowls Club.

Night Owls defeated second place team Eumundi Boys on Thursday night.
Bushrangers went down again on the last end against 101s!
It seems they like to play close to the wind making for exciting games with very close finishes.
Other winners were JeLS, TAG, Rob and Co, Kybong Kids and High Rollers.
Only two games are left to play and with Eumundi Boys and JeLS challenging each other on the last night.
Cooroy Automotive Services sponsored the monthly Pairs challenge last Thursday.
The jackpot went off to runners up team Walter Horn and Bruce Coventry. Regular visitors Les James and Reg McComb took home first prize.
Tuesday jackpot pairs winners were Roy Wall and Sandra French.
Bob Andrews and Sam Hands were runners up. Cooroy Lifestyle Real Estate is sponsoring a $50 consistency prize this week.
Each player on the winning end will score their winning bowls. The player with the highest score will win the prize money.

Noosa Heads Bowls – The Chalker
Each year, at this time, the various club champions from our club and Tewantin-Noosa face off in matches for the Titanic Challenge.
This time it’s Noosa’s turn to host, with play, featuring the top bowlers in the region to take place this Friday, under lights, commencing at 6pm.
Following a bye, Noosa is back in action for a night pennant, journeying to Pacific Paradise this Thursday.
Attention turns to social events at this time of the year and a very successful prawn and steak night was held last Saturday – well attended by both bowlers and members of the affiliated fishing club.
A group of Noosa players is scheduled to have lots of fun, and bowls, with a trip away to Rainbow Beach arranged for this coming weekend.
Another date to mark on the calendar is Saturday 6 December when the annual presentation dinner will be held to honour this year’s club champions.
Last week saw the release of the fixture for Super Challenge, the first round of the comp set down for Saturday 17 January.
Noosa Heads has entered two sides in the bronze division with Section 5 to play Kandanga away and Section 8 at home to Pine Rivers.
