Power in the pairing

TWO local artists have joined creative forces to present an exhibition of their innovative and imaginative works at the Pomona Railway Station Gallery.
Gabi Dick and Tricia Bradford are both well-known for their often unusual and dramatic techniques, with the exhibition highlighting how their works contrast yet compliment the other; a synergy of their friendship and artistic talents.
The exhibition, titled Synchronicity, will feature Gabi’s diverse work that ranges from exploring the botanical world and the stages of plant growth to the contemporary depiction of coastal waters and her desire to incorporate many aspects of the Bradshaw rock art that she encountered while sailing in the Kimberley.
Tricia will present large, colourful, abstract watercolour works that will surprise and impress, with fish and fowl as the main inspiration. Tricia’s work capture an element of fun with each piece’s subject matter not always visible at first sight.
Synchronicity will be on display at the Pomona Railway Station Gallery, 10 Station Street, Pomona, from 6 December to 8 January.
