Our own eye in the sky

By JONATHON HOWARD

FILM crews were bustling around Noosa this week as filming for the next regional tourism campaign took place.
Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL) in conjunction with Tourism and Events Queensland was filming at Noosa Main Beach and Noosa National Park on Monday, 18 August.
Working with leading advertising agency, Mojo and Taxi Production Company, the campaign was focused on the “naturally refreshing” branding and natural icons of the region with components shot with cutting edge drone cameras.
The multimedia campaign will be shown nationally and internationally, including first time advertising on television in New Zealand.
SCDL head of marketing Laughlin Rigby said there will be a big focus on social and digital media with the launch.
“Commencing with exclusive behind the scenes footage to be show on SCDL’s Facebook page (Visit Sunshine Coast) this week,” he said.
