Sunshine from a group on the go

By JONATHON HOWARD

THE Sunshine 60 and Better Group Inc has been enjoying a range of weekly activities and they would like to encourage others to join in.
Each Monday from 12.30pm, a group of about 12 older residents meet up and enjoy each other’s company while playing a few games.
The group will also have a special guest speaker from RACQ on Monday 25 August, to speak about driving for seniors.
Community liaison officer Tracey Stirton said it was important for seniors to get out and into the community, with a range of activities on offer.
“We encourage people to come along and join in some easy going group sessions while meeting new people,” she said.
