An IGA supermarket for Peregian

By Hollie Harris

MAYOR Tony Wellington officially cut the red ribbon to open Peregian’s newest treasure – the IGA supermarket.
The eager crowd explored the new store on Wednesday 21 September which came to life with excited employees and colourful fresh produce, smells of fresh coffee and breads.
Clear glass windows bring customers up close with the store bakers, and coffee is served to shoppers in store.
Noosa MP Glen Elmes, deputy mayor Frank Wilkie and Federal Member for Wide Bay, Llew O’Brien, were among those present at the grand opening ceremony of this exciting new addition to Peregian Beach.
