After packing out venues in Darwin and headlining huge festivals in India and Nepal last month, Jay Hoad is bringing his unique show back to Noosa.
The Fijian-born multi-instrumentalist has spent the past 10 years touring across the world, performing his unique show with more than 17 instruments on the stage.
His latest album, xx , earned him the prestigious ARBA Blues and Roots Album of the Year in 2016.
This year he wanted to tour through as many regional towns as possible, weaving around the entire coast of Australia
“This year’s tour features so many weird and wonderful instruments that it really gives the fans a chance and to hear and see something cool, new and unique,” he said.
“My favourite instruments on this tour are probably the Cricket Bat Guitar and the Steam Punk Guitar which are made from car parts, shovels, kitchen sinks, etc. and sound incredible.”
Catch him at Noosa Heads Surf Club on Saturday from 8pm and Sunday from 3pm.
