More time for family favourites

Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre is thrilled to bring two all-time family favourites to Noosa this summer, all on one fabulous night!
Staging one production can be a daunting enough process for most but try telling that to the team at SCYT.
“We have so many kids who wish to be involved,” SCYT’s artistic director Madison Thew-Keyworth said.
“Staging just one production would mean having to say no to so many enthusiastic youngsters.
“So we thought, well, why not stage two?”
Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre has spent the summer singing, dancing and acting its way through the holidays with more than 70 performers.
The most junior of these performers, those in grades three to six, are working to bring the classic Annie to the stage in their performance of Annie Kids.
Meanwhile, senior performers have been busily rehearsing their performance of Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Annie Kids and Alice in Wonderland Jr will be staged at The J Theatre, Noosa, on Saturday 24 January at 7pm.
Tickets are on sale via The J website www.thej.com.au.
For more information on how to get involved at SCYT contact Madison at SCYT on info@scyt.com.au or 0422 221 783.
