You’ll be hard pressed to stop yourself stomping your feet, up dancing and singing along when Limerick perform at The Bunker at The Imperial Hotel on Saturday 24 February.
Formed in 2016, Limerick is a four piece Brisbane-based Celtic Band featuring vocal harmonies, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, fiddle and drums.
Between them, these fine musicians have over 100 years individual performing experience. They are seriously good!
Broadly representing the Celtic folk, trad and Celtic rock genres, Limerick’s slogan of ‘Modern Celtic Band’ reflects the incorporation of modern crowd pleasers into their shows to ensure that everybody young and old and in-between has a cracking good time.
They list their influences as The Irish Rovers, Dropkick Murphys, The Dubliners, The High Kings, The Pogues, Avicii, as well as Mumford & Sons.
The band: Tim Cody – acoustic guitar, lead + backing vocals; Belle Hendrik – bass guitar, lead + backing vocals; Melinda Coles – lead fiddle + backing vocals; and Craig Tobin – drums + backing vocals
TICKETS: $10 (+ booking fee) through Oztix or at the Imperial Hotel (Ph: 5442 8811). Doors open 8pm
