Peregian Tennis Club members and supporters swung into action recently, raising their racquets and cups to the Cancer Council’s work making a real difference to lives affected by cancer. The girls looked like they really enjoyed their first ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ here at the club – they raised plenty, and talked about making it an annual event,” court manager Andrew Veale said.The Friday men’s players pitched in too, including founding members of the club who established the community facility in 1980. The club continues to thrive, thanks to the support of community-minded members, casual players and holiday makers, with over 200 people playing at the three courts weekly.
