Claude Harvey the ‘Mower Man’ pushed his mower through Noosa Shire last week in his ongoing mission to push his mower around the country to raise money for Bravehearts, a charity which works to prevent child sexual assault in our community.
Claude, 71, is just $76,000 dollars away from raising $1 million dollars.
He began his quest because he wanted to do something to help after two girls in his neighbourhood were sexually assaulted.
He said no-one would have paid attention if I was just walking around, so he decided to use his lawn mower.
Noosa MP Glen Elmes and Noosa mayor Tony Wellington caught up with Claude at the start of his Tewantin to Biloela fund-raiser trek.
Look out for Claude as he continues his mowathon and for more information visit www.facebook.com/ClaudeTheMowerMan
