The River Deck Restaurant in association with Noosa Heads Jazz Club is proud to present an outstanding week of renowned Australian Jazz musicians. This unique jazz event began in 1992, and its popularity has grown over the years to become a sought-after event that brings people from interstate and overseas.
For the jazz enthusiast, Jazz epitomises a life well-lived and gives the listener a sense of abandonment as well as intrigue. Jazz music is layered with syncopation and improvisation creating an atmosphere that can be at times intimate and other times boisterous. Its distinctive tones and rhythm make you move unwillingly, enjoying the moment no matter how you feel. Combine this with a delicious three-course meal and life is complete!
From 27 August to 3 September The River Deck Restaurant are showcasing an array of exciting and challenging classic jazz performances that include: The Australian Jazz ensemble on Sunday 27 August from noon, includes a three-course meal. On Tuesday 29 August, there will be The River Boast Shuffle from 5pm, this includes two classic jazz bands on two different ferries with canapes and a bar on board. Dinner is a three- course meal back at the restaurant with more Jazz . On Friday 1 and Saturday 2 September, there is an array of artists with a three-course meal for lunch from noon and Sunday 3 September (Father’s day) includes a three-course lunch with another great Jazz ensemble.
Bookings go quickly as regulars come back time and again to this extremely popular event.
