Don’t miss a beat

HEAD into Cooroy this Sunday for the usual bevy of Sunny Coast talent that is always a part of the Cooroy Originals.
The afternoon will be great act after great act with The Floating Bridges, The Counterfeit Umbrellas, Jeremiah Johnson and Phoenix gracing the stage from 1pm.
The Floating Bridges create an infectious blend of rock and roots music, encapsulating life’s experiences and delivering messages of peace, love and unity. The Sunshine Coast six-piece are renowned for their energetic and passionate live performances, enthralling crowds across Australia and the world and bringing people together since their formation in 2009.
Six years on and 2015 was no exception to the rule, with the coastal boys taking their music far and wide, performing over 20 shows in the UK, including huge summer festivals like Boomtown Fair and Secret Garden Party. On the back of releasing their second independent album ‘Creatures of Leisure,’ The Floating Bridges also ignited audiences at Australia’s premiere festivals including Big Pineapple and Woodford Folk Festival.
In 2016, bass player Rohan Nitschke returned, freeing up frontman Cale Fisher to release his energetic and captivating vocals onto the audience. The ‘Bridges’ have been writing new music that is set to be released in late 2016 alongside a full scale national tour.
Cooroy welcomes the guys back on stage as massive crowd favourites and regulars to the Cooroy and Peregian Originals family.
Entry is free and all ages are welcome to enjoy this family friendly music smorgasbord under the sunshine.
