Ginger Christmas with Santa

By Hollie Harris

SANTA is on his way to the Ginger Factory this December as he swaps the North Pole for the Sunny Coast’s beautiful tropical climate.
Head on down to one of the iconic and much-loved attractions, and you can catch Santa on 5 -10, 13-17 and 20 -24 December, each morning at 9.30am in the Garden Gazebo for a special story reading.
After taking a quick break to feed the reindeer, Santa will be available for photos from 10am to 1.30pm in his winter wonderland. Don’t forget to bring your camera, so you can capture this special moment in front of his wonderful Christmas setting.
In keeping with the Christmas festivities, kids can also decorate their very own gingerbread Christmas trees and gingerbread men, available for purchase from the Ice Creamery.
Holiday fun doesn’t have to stop with Santa this December. The Ginger Factory has fun for the whole family with fun rides, fascinating tours, life-sized board games along with areas for the kids to play and beautiful gardens to explore.
Ride Moreton, the iconic 115-year-old cane train and relax in the open air carriages as he takes you on a journey through the Ginger Factory’s subtropical gardens.
Go overboard with the gingerbread man and set out on an exciting water voyage around the world or discover the paddock to plate story of confectionery ginger on the Factory Tour and see how Buderim Ginger have come to produce The World’s Finest GingerTM.
Experience the fascinating world of bees on the live bee show before tasting a delicious range of honey and after all the excitement, the Ginger Cafe offers the perfect spot, alongside the undercover playground, to sit back and relax with a delicious treat while the kids play.
For festive family fun these holidays, the Ginger Factory in Yandina is the place to be. If it’s been a while since you visited, it’s time to pop by and make the most of the festive season.
