River Deck jazz beckons

THE River Deck Restaurant and Bar in association with the Noosa Heads Jazz Club will host a number of very special events to tantalise your tastebuds and your ears, beginning this weekend.
Lunchtime events that begin on Sunday 28 August will be held outside The River Deck at Tewantin, offering an exciting musical experience involving Noosa Chorale and Jazz Party musicians.
All events include meals with an entre selection followed by a wide range of options such as Brie and prosciutto chicken breast, rolled roast pork belly, macadamia crusted snapper, duck confit or eye fillet steak followed by desserts such as crepe suzette, profiteroles or perhaps some aged Brie and gorganzola.
Choose a date to suit you on:
Sunday 28 August for the three-course lunch and entertainment which is $60 with no BYO, starting at 11.30am.
Musicians include Bab Barnard, Peter Locke, Nigel Date and many more.
Tuesday 30 August is The River boat Shuffle evening event with local musicians, leaving from the Noosa Marina, Tewantin, at 5.15pm and costs $90. The cruise is packaged with canapes on the boats and a superb three-course dinner back at the restaurant.
The musicians playing for your enjoyment will be: Bob Barnard, Brett Iggulden, Paul Furniss, Paul Williams, James Clark, Nigel Date, Greg Garrett, Peter Locke, John Murray, Richard Stevens, Juliarna Clark.
Friday 2 September is the three-course lunch and entertainment from 11.30am for $65 with no BYO and includes entertainment from Jason Downes, Geoff Power, Juliarna Clarke and James Clarke.
Saturday 3 September is the three-course and entertainment from 11.30am for $65 with no BYO and includes performances from Peter Graudion, Brandford Child, Rod Gilbert and much more.
Sunday 4 September is the Father’s Day lunch which is $70 per person for the three-course meal fully licensed from noon with Geoff Bull, John Murray, Paul Williams, Peter Locke and many more.
