Hinterland gets rocking

Brisbane lyrical, rock and roots act Vaguely Human are performing at Cooroy Originals this coming Sunday 27 August.
The band’s powerful lyrics provoke thought, emotion and a desire to stand out from the crowd. They lay on a bed of sometimes frenetic, sometimes catchy and all the while palatable tunes; a blend of intricate rhythms, soulful brass and smooth alternative grooves to create an energy filled, mind melting and foot moving live show.
Headlining the event is the delectable and sensual sounds of funk powerhouse PocketLove. Also sharing the bill are Sydney groove/rock act, Wolves In Fashion and local winners of Battle of the Rising Stars, Flintlock.
The Cooroy Originals have been running for three years – in the beautiful hinterland community 15 minutes from Noosa.
Kick back with buskers from noon, plus market stalls and food vans. Also onsite are face painters, a playground and a skate park; so it’s time to bring out the family picnic rug and support some great local and national performers.
Vaguely Human have recently released a music video for their single “Space”. The video is a conglomerate of footage from their 2016 East Coast Tour. The video’s release is a hint of things to come from the band, which is currently hard at work in the studio recording a debut album, due for release in early 2018.
