Adventurer says to reach for the stars

ADVENTURER, author and keynote speaker Jeremy Scott is coming to Noosa to inspire locals to follow their dreams and reach for the stars.
Despite being born with a hole in his heart, Jeremy never let his hunger for adventure and the outdoors fade.
His insatiable hunger to explore the world inspired him to move to London, which he used as a base to travel extensively throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and South America.
Not satisfied with his extensive travels, in October 2011 Jeremy set off on a two-year and seven month solo bike ride from London to New Zealand that took him through 29 countries and over more than 51,900 kilometres.
Jeremy wrote his first book The Long Road From a Broken Heart after he finished the journey and now dedicates his life to inspiring others.
Throughout his travels, Jeremy has raised over $35,000 for the Australian, British and New Zealand Heart Foundations and was this year awarded the Australian Heart Foundation Heart Hero award.
Now, thanks to the local Rotary clubs, Jeremy is coming to Noosa for two special talks.
Jeremy will speak at the Rotary Club of Noosa’s dinner meeting on Monday 26 September, at the Tewantin Noosa RSL, at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
The cost is $20 per person and includes a two-course meal. To attend, phone club president Tess Alexandroff on 0407 377 210 or email tessalexandroff@gmail.com
Jeremy will also speak at the Rotary Noosa Daybreak Club’s breakfast meeting on Thursday 6 October, at 6.45am for a 7am start ,at the Noosa Springs Resort, Links Drive.
Cost to attend is $20 and includes a full buffet breakfast. Seating is limited. To attend, phone the club on 1300 791 226.
