Hair-raising stunts on show

By JONATHON HOWARD

THE famous wheel of death and the death-defying Russian swing are just a few of the hair-raising stunts Noosa residents can witness as part of the acclaimed Webers Circus.
Webers Circus is back for another year with a big top at the Kawana Sports Precinct with opening night on Friday 24 October and will run until Sunday 2 November.
Ten lucky Noosa families also have the chance to win one of 10 family passes (two adults and two children), by simply emailing Noosa Today.
This year’s show will have audience members on the edge of their seats with acts from around the world.
The three very cute miniature horses and the comedy dogs will keep you laughing, along with Australia’s funniest clowns.
The Wheel of Death performed by Hewin from Colombia is one of the most spectacular acts Webers Circus has to offer and Hewin runs around a huge wheel that almost touches the top of the tent.
The other feature act is the Russian Swing which is very entertaining with the three Webers sisters somersaulting through the air only to be caught by a catcher seven metres off the ground.
Juggler, Cody Harrington, won the junior world juggling championships in Las Vegas and juggles no less than nine rings, which is quite a handful.
The show also includes silks, hula hoops, Spanish web, salsa dancing and much more.
For all inquires, phone 0448 247 287 ( 0448 CIRCUS ) or book online: www.weberscircus.com
For the chance to win one of 10 family passes, email competition@noosatoday.net.au – the first 10 emails will win.
