By MEGAN OGLE

AFTER coming runner-up on the 2014 series of X-Factor, Dean Ray has been busy forging his career, performing over 85 shows this year alone and spending time in LA and London recording studios.
Dean’s rise to fame has been lightning fast; he has already had 13 singles in the top 200 of the ARIA Charts including two number one hits.
Now the Australian singer and songwriter is set to showcase all his popular songs, plus some brand new ones, in his coming performance at the Villa Noosa Hotel on 5 December.
Dean, who once called the Sunshine Coast home, is looking forward to entertaining audiences with an intimate and entertaining performance.
“It will be me, my guitar, kick drum and my voice. It will be intimate,” Dean said.
Audiences can expect to laugh and cry along with Dean as he tells the story of songs which are close to his heart.
“The audience will be sad, there will be laughter and confusion. It will be a damn good time.”
You can catch Dean Ray at the Villa Noosa Hotel, 18-22 Mary Street, Noosaville, on 5 December at 8pm. Tickets are $15 per person and are available at the venue.
