Dolphins ready for a big year

By Ron Lane

For Noosa’s Dolphin Rugby Union Club the adrenalin is still pumping following what was one of the club’s most successful seasons ever.
Club President Donald McKill said, “All is in readiness for the season ahead. However it’s going to be hard to match last season’s result. We won the A Grade, Reserves and the Under 18 Grand Finals, with the A Grade going through undefeated. However, you can be assured that we will again give it our best.”
All players are reminded that sign-on for Juniors and Seniors for the coming season will take place on 17 and 24 February at the Dolphin’s club starting at 3.30pm.
The club is also happy to announce that the now famous Dolphins Long Lunch Sponsorship event will once again be on the supporters’ social calendar.
This is now looked on as probably Noosa’s sporting lunch of the year with guest speakers all of legendary status.
On Friday evening, club representatives will travel to Twin Waters for the annual Sunshine Coast Sports Federation Dinner and Presentation of Awards.
The club wishes not only Dolphins, but all clubs and officials whose achievements are acknowledged by a nomination, the very best.
