Easter Medley – Full greens ensured the See Well Law sponsored event was a great success. Many players were competitive in all games.
The end result was a three way tie with a countback being needed to sort out winners and place getters. See Well Law representative Clara was on hand to make presentations to teams at end of day.
Winners: Ian Sanday, Wendy Ryan, Neil Walsh and Yvonne Walsh; Runners-up: Gaye Bible, Steve Chandler, Laurie Axiak and Jenny Smith. Third: Lindsay Barker, Daphne Reed, Tony McAnelly and Robyn McAnelly.

POMONA BOWLS
On Wednesday the Ladies celebrated Past President’s Day. A big thank you to all the visiting clubs who helped make the day very enjoyable.
Winners were Bettina Winkler and Gaye Bible with runners-up Denise Debus, Jeannie Price, Linda McDougall and Veronis O’Connor.
Men’s ’A’ Championship – quarter finals: In a close game Daryl Millar def Greg Hodder 26-23; semi-finals – Jim O’Donnell def Patrick Gray-Spence 25-17 and Daryl Millar def Keith Muir 25-10.
The finals will be played between Jim O’Donnell and Daryl Millar.
The outstanding star of the men’s championships has been Jim O’Donnell who is the oldest member of the Men’s Section. Can he continue his success and win the final round?
Friday Twilight social bowls – winners were Rick Goulding and Glenn Patterson with runners-up Irvine Summerville and Frank Long. The jackpot was won by Peter Read and brand new bowler Alan Betts.
