NOOSA CROQUET
LOCAL clubs joined together this week as the Noosa Croquet Club welcomed the Probus Club of Cooroy and Cooroy Golf Club members for a day on a different kind of green.
Club president Brian Rudd welcomed the visiting groups with a morning tea and quick lesson before the fun and games began.
The Probus Club of Cooroy member Patsy Faye said the game wasn’t as easy as it looked and brought out the “revenge” spirit in those who have a competitive nature but said the groups were left wanting more.
“A big thank you to Brian and the Noosa Croquet Club for your hospitality and patience while we attempted to master the skills and most of all for the fun and fellowship we all enjoyed,” Ms Faye said.
