NOOSA Masters Swimming Club hosted the 16th annual swim carnival at the Noosa Aquatic Centre on Saturday 14 May.
The event attracted a record number of participants with 185 swimmers from 25 clubs competing in the carnival. Twelve metropolitan Brisbane clubs and 13 regional Queensland clubs from as far as Gladstone, Rockhampton, Maryborough, Hervey Bay and Toowoomba all took part in the meet.
Swimmers varied in ages from 21-year-old Tara Anderson from Hervey Bay to 91-years-young George Stewart, representing Sunshine Coast Masters.
Ten events were contested for trophies, most winners determined by closest to their nominated time.
A most successful day headed by meet director Adrian Wilson, meet manager Ian Tucker and referee Rob Lucas.
