A Huge Effort from the Noosa Eagles

By Hollie Harris

Back on home turf, and the day started with a bit of fun with both our U7 Black and U7 Gold playing together! All kids on field did a wonderful job and worked well with their teams. A great way for both teams to get to know each other and have a nice friendly match! Well done U7’s!

What an exciting game this weekend for the Under 8 Gold team against the Pacific Mantarays! The Noosa boys put in a thousand percent effort to secure a 4-1 victory. Ryan C once again showed his amazing goalie skills, and then scored two goals for our team in the second half. Congratulations to Kyro for his sharp shot into goals early in the match, to Phoenix for scoring his first goal of the season (it should have counted!) and to man of the match Xavier for phenomenal play. Keep up the amazing effort, team!

U10 Black had a great match against Currimundi Morays. It was a fight until the end with Currimundi scoring the winning goal right before time finishing off with a close score 7-6

The defenders worked hard all game to keep the ball and Iggy doing a great job as goal keeper!

A great game played by all, having no subs, each player kept up from start to finish at 100% well done U10’s

Lastly, a big thankyou to all of our families who have all been stepping up and helping out with our home games through setting up and packing down feilds and in the canteen. We have a wonderful community in our club and your help does not go unnoticed.

Very much looking forward to our upcoming trivia night!
