THE Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club school holiday sailing program sets sail on Monday offering kids the chance to learn the ropes.
Children aged eight to 18-years are welcome to attend and will be introduced to the Yachting Australia start sailing program at level one and two.
Participants will learn to sail the Vagabond dinghies with a junior instructor aboard and are in for a week of fun learning to rig, tack and gybe on the Noosa River.
The course will run Monday 29 September to Friday 3 October, from 10am to 4pm daily. The cost is $65 per day and includes lunch and afternoon snack, as well as life jacket, coach and rescue boat support.
Lunch and afternoon snack along with life jackets and coach/rescue boat support are all supplied.
