Thriller lunch for book shop

Annie’s Books Peregian is thrilled to be welcoming Jane Harper to Noosa to launch her new thriller Force of Nature. Jane is a great new Australian talent, with her debut novel the dry taking out the Australian book industry’s fiction book of the year and overall book of the year. Quite an achievement for a debut author. The shop is already receiving a lot of interest for the literary lunch in October.
In 2014, Jane submitted a short story which was one of 12 chosen for the Big Issue’s annual Fiction Edition.
That inspired her to pursue creative writing more seriously, and that year she applied for the Curtis Brown Creative online 12-week novel writing course.
She was accepted with a submission for the book that would become The Dry and wrote the first full draft during the three-month course.
She will now launch her latest novel and will host a special lunch in Noosa to mark the occassion.
This very special literary lunch and launch of “Force of Nature” with Jane Harper is on Thursday 5 October, at noon, at the River Deck Bar and Restaurant, Noosa Marina.
