Tastes bloom for festival

The Ginger Flower and Food Festival is back for three days of flowers, food and entertainment for the whole family.
As one of Australia’s premier annual events, the Ginger Flower and Food Festival will bring together some of the most popular chefs as well as showcase the largest range of ornamental gingers and heliconias under one roof.
The Ginger Factory’s gardening team is busy preparing the park for the three-day festival that will feature close to 90 different varieties and more than 3000 plants for sale ranging from delicate Costas to bold beehive gingers.
The Ginger Flower and Food Festival is a free event and will run from 23 to 25 January at the Ginger Factory, 50 Pioneer Road, Yandina.
