A NOOSA-based underwater photographer has received the stamp of approval with a special postage stamps collection released in her honour.
Liz Harlin has had her work featured on a special postage stamp collection issued by the Philatelic Bureau of the Solomon Islands Postal Corporation.
The colourful collection of nine stamps highlights and celebrates each of the anemonefish species which are endemic to the nation’s tropical coral reefs.
“For me, it is an honour and a thrill to see my work used this way,” Liz said.
Liz is a multi-award winning photographer who specialises in underwater portraits, wildlife and scenic images and was named the Queensland AIPP Wildlife and Wild Places Photographer of the Year for 2015.
