Police are investigating the break and enter of an IGA store in Tewantin yesterday morning.
At about 3.30am, police attended the Saint Andrews Drive store, following reports of multiple alarm activations and found the front door smashed in.
Police believe two or three men dressed in hooded jumpers forced entry by reversing a utility through the door, before trying to drag away the ATM with a large chain.
The men left the store empty handed and police investigations are continuing.
