BLISS out as the first of Noosa’s Cosmic Concert Series hits the Coast next month with three stellar acts ready to take you to another planet.
Planet Bliss kicks off on Saturday 21 May and three of the best local acts will take to the stage including OKA, Cheap Fakes and The Floating Bridges.
Event organiser, and co-founder of Peregian Originals, Jay Bishoff said selecting the line-up for the first event in the series was easy with two of the three bands having started their musical journey at the Peregian Originals.
“When we first featured Cheap Fakes at Peregian Originals, they were almost totally unknown on the Sunshine Coast however now they have become a household name,” he said.
“They have put in a lot of loving work here through the years, and it has really paid off. Everyone loves them, for all the right reasons. They are an awesome, high vibration outfit, and I am stoked to have them on the bill.”
Jay said the audience would be in for a treat with well-known and much-loved Coastal act, The Floating Bridges.
“The Floating Bridges, talk about positive energy in motion. What I love about this band is they continue to grow musically, and their sound keeps evolving,” he said.
“They have expanded from the early days, bringing in three-part harmonies, and new styles, to compliment that classic Floating Bridges ‘rock-reggae’ sound.”
And headlining the debut concert are the kings of bliss, OKA.
“Known for blissing out their audiences, not just locally, but nationally and internationally, OKA were the obvious choice to headline our first event,” Jay said.
