Noosa Alive showcases well-known artists

Sunshine Beach artist Sam Vatovey will join a group of eight local artists to exhibit together for the first time at the Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre.
The exhibition will form part of the Noosa Alive festival.
The ACTIV8 group will showcase new works especially created for the exhibition.
Sam and other artists – Rick Gruin, Anna Howard and Helen Lawson – share an abstract and figurative style in their work.
Annie McDonald is a glass artist whose creations will add a splash of brilliance to the exhibition.
The group will be joined by acclaimed potter Rowley Drysdale along with Yeats Gruin and Vit Martinek who are known in the region for their ceramics and sculpture.
The ACTIV8 exhibition will open on Friday 7 July at 6pm and continues until Tuesday 8 August.
ACTIV8 will also host a meet the artists discussion at the exhibition at 11am on Saturday 29 July.
