Lapping up the changes

A warm 28-degrees will be inviting throughout the winter months.

THE Pomona School pool had a welcome makeover during the winter break and is ready to re-open in August.
The pool now has warm 28-degree water with a modern filtration system, a repainted pool surface, automatic pool vacuum and a new pace clock for squads, and passes will be part of the re-opening.
Pool lessee, coach and dual Olympian and medallist Greg Rogers said the school principal Alyson Covey had been pro-active and supportive of the makeover.
“Alyson and staff have been visionary for the school and the community and are to be commended for the project,” he said.
Learn to Swim, Aquafit and squads will be available at the newly-renovated pool. For more information, phone 0416 406 832.
