One Nation has many options

By Jolene Ogle

One Nation has confirmed it hopes to run a candidate in every seat in Queensland including Noosa if it can find the right candidates.
One Nation State and National Secretary and candidate for Lockyer Jim Savage confirmed the party hopes to run a candidate in every Queensland seat but who will run in Noosa is yet to be determined.
“We have had a huge number of applications for candidates all over the state,” he said.
“I have at least 50 I haven’t even opened yet. We’re just battling our way through them. I haven’t seen this many applications to run as a candidate in a party for at least 20 years.”
Mr Savage said the party hopes to run a candidate in every seat but the party wants to make sure they pick the best ones.
“Whoever we run will have to be a good candidate,” he said.
“We might get 10 applications for the seat but if they don’t cut the mustard, they won’t run.
“So far we have had multiple applications for almost every seat.”
