THE champagne flowed at Tinbeerwah hall last Friday night (16 September) for the official opening of the Tinbeerwah Art Group’s annual art show.
A warm welcome was given to respected artist and former TAG tutor Lyn Fraser Roberts, who performed the official opening and spoke of the importance of art in the community.
Art enthusiasts seized the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their work.
The People’s Choice award was won by Sharon Wright, and Simon Golland of Noosaville won the raffle.
This year TAG donated proceeds from the raffle, book sale and door entry to The Thursday Girls fund-raising to support educational programs in Noosa Shire.
