Tops of the covers

By Hollie Harris

THE hottest new cover band on the Sunshine Coast specialises in bringing you all your favourites and combining them with a few new numbers that you are sure to love.
This is the band for you, if you are looking for the ultimate, eclectic mix of old and new songs ranging from indie pop/rock, classic rock from the ’70s and ’80s plus some great modern dance and RnB from 2000 onwards.
Cover Girl is fronted by the mesmerising tones of Kirsten, a versatile vixen who can croon out Dusty Springfield, Chris Isaac and Lan Del Rey hits and also take it up to rock out to the likes of Pat Benatar, Blondie, Adele and Taylor Swift.
Backed by an awesome band of high energy performers who love interacting with their audience, each performance is just a little different from the last and there is not a single audience member who leaves the venue without feeling like the band was playing solely to them.
If you would like to rock along with Cover Girl then head over to the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 30 September at 8pm.
Entry is free for everyone, but make sure you grab a seat early because this is a show that will fill up quickly.
