Coast care all year round

LOCAL photographers have been busy snapping photos of the picturesque Noosa and Coolum regions to help create a 2015 calendar.
Locally produced, the 13 month calendar follows the seasonal changes and depicts the fauna, flora and iconic landscapes of the local coastal areas.
Volunteers helped select the photos used and match them with text to portray aspects of the coastal environment.
All calendars sold will help support the work of the Coolum and North Shore Coast Care group that run programs such as dunal regeneration, rehabilitation, education and turtle care.
Calendars are only $10 each and are available at the Noosa Parks Association, Wallace Road, Noosaville; the Bent Banana, Peregian Beach; Good Harvest in Marcoola; plus Mitre 10, The Shop and Coolum Community Native Nursery in Coolum.
If you’re looking for a unique, inexpensive Christmas gift, a Coolum and North Shore Coast Care calendar is the perfect idea.
If you would like to get involved with the production of next year’s calendar, email Diane at diane.goodwillie@gmail.com
