BELMONDOS Organic Market welcomes Vanilla Food with chef Nilla Tomkins who has taken over running the cafe in the market.
No stranger to Belmondos, Nilla worked for the market several years ago and is excited to be back. “It’s great to be back at Belmondos and I am really excited to see the change in direction with food focusing on healthier options,” Nilla said.
Nilla has been following a healthy lifestyle for some time and is sugar free, organic and almost gluten free herself. With a philosophy of anything in moderation, diners can expect to see some great options in the cafe with an emphasis on healthy, wholesome and pure foods such as fresh salmon and asparagus quiche; cauliflower sushi and vegan spanakopita; beetroot, feta and pine nut quiche and more.
Vanilla Food will also feature a selection of healthy and wholesome salads that will change regularly and Nilla plans on serving up curries and lasagnes using organic meats from Eumundi Meats and will provide take-away options as well.
Nilla is known for her wholesale raw cake business which she will bring to Belmondos where diners can enjoy her healthy Ferrero Rochers, chocolate fudge and salted caramel brownie as well as other healthy, raw options.
Nilla’s food offerings will be available for catering, bulk take-away and wholesale with Vanilla Food open Monday to Saturday in Belmondos Organic Market.
