Monday’s rain finally broke a record 30 days of temperatures over 30 degrees. While the remainder of the week has brought some much-needed deluges to the region, things will start to warm up again for one last hit of heat.
Thursday: A top temperature of 29 degrees with an 80 per cent chance of rain, most likely to hit in the afternoon. There is just a chance of an afternoon storm.
Friday: Much the same, with a top of 30 expected and an 80 per cent chance of rain and an afternoon storm.
Saturday: The start to the weekend will be partly cloudy with a 70 per cent chance of rain and south-easterly winds up to 3km/h in the morning.
Sunday: A 60 per cent chance of rain and a top temperature of 31 degrees is expected, with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
Monday: temperatures will start to heat up again with a top of 32 expected along with a 50 per cent chance of rain, but only up to 5mm predicted.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with cooler temperatures a top of 29 and 19 at night.
Wednesday: Same as Tuesday with some cloud cover and temperatures dropping again with a low of 19 and high of 27.
