World of Narnia comes closer

“They open a door and enter a world.” Let Little Seed Theatre Company take you on a journey with its latest production, Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, at the Majestic Theatre on Easter Saturday.
This is the first time that the company has toured a show and the team is excited to perform at The Majestic.
“The opportunity to work within the classic theatre space and the people of the Hinterland is something to be cherished,” director Johanna Wallace said.
A heroic tale of love, faith and the triumph of good over evil, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe has enthralled people of all ages since C.S. Lewis published the fantasy novel in 1950.
Little Seed’s dramatisation shares the story of the four Pevensie children, who discover a magical portal to the mythical land of Narnia.
Expect talking animals, mythical creatures, a white witch, and a cast of talented young performers supported by live and locally-composed music.
A 13-member orchestra has worked tirelessly over the past few months to create a score
that adds to the mood, works with the actors and enhances the story.
The score complements the dazzling array of characters – the great lion Aslan is accompanied
by strings and brass, while Mr Tumnus, the faun, is followed by the sound of panpipes.
Two handmade bamboo flutes, made by Pomona’s Windelf, are on loan to add an extra
atmospheric touch.
Little Seed Theatre Company presents Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at The Majestic Theatre Noosa. Saturday March 31 J performances at 2pm and 6.30pm.
