Butterflies boost

LOCAL phone and data supplier Sunshine Coast Community Telco has long supported Sunshine Butterflies.
his relationship was strengthened this week through two means; the handing over of $5000 to the local charity and the establishment of new agreement where a percentage of Telco bills is given to the group.
Every business that signs up for Telco through Sunshine Butterflies founder Leanne Walsh will have a 2.5 per cent of their bill donated to the not-for-profit service, along with 20 per cent of any hardware purchases.
“Each year a percentage of our spend goes back into the community, and we have chosen to support Sunshine Butterflies for the amazing work they do and the fact that they are self-funded,” Telco spokesperson Rachel Mellings-Herz said.
A grateful Leanne Walsh said the agreement would establish a constant revenue stream to ensure the maintenance of their latest project “Our Backyard”.
To sign up or for more information contact Leanne on 5470 2830 or Rachel on 5459 1133.
