DRAG Queen Melony Brests will host a night of bingo at Cooroy RSL to help raise funds for the students of Noosa District State High School (NDSHS) who will take part in the Kokoda Youth Challenge.
The Kokoda Youth Challenge is a gruelling 96km trek through the Gold Coast hinterland over two days – 18 and 19 July.
Each team of four must supply their own support crew, plus pay registration fees and raise a minimum amount of donations.
NDSHS students are hoping to raise $5500 and Melony is happy to help, hosting a night of adult fun at the Cooroy RSL.
Supported by larger-than-life bosom buddy Miss Sall Monalla, Melony will take you on a jewel encrusted roller coaster ride with an outrageous combination of call-outs, sing-a-longs and gags.
The Drag Queen Bingo night will be held at the Cooroy RSL, Maple Street, Cooroy, on Saturday 4 July from 7.30pm sharp.
Entry is $15 per person and bingo books are $5 each with all proceeds from raffle ticket sales and bingo books going to the NDSHS Kokoda Challenge students.
For more information or to book, phone the Cooroy RSL on 5447 6131.
