Lively tennis all-round

OUR Vibe of the week goes to the enthusiastic kids at Peregian Beach Tennis Club’s Friday afternoon junior competition. This weekly event offers plenty of match-play opportunities for juniors in both singles and doubles. This iniative gives the kids a chance to play plenty of tennis in a friendly club environment. The competition has just wrapped up for Term 1 with the following results:
3.45pm group: Top of Ladder: Luke Allen and Harry Crokam. Team winners: Logan Connors and Harry Crokam.
5.30pm group: Top of Ladder: 1. Flynn Lethlean 2.Josh Baker-Lahey
Congratulations to all players as the quality of play and sportsmanship was excellent.
The first season of adult weeknight comps has just finished too, with these team winners:
Monday: Team 5: Dan Gill, Craig Ellis and Ross Nisbett. Tuesday: Team 3: Bob Kennedy, Jenny and Angel Taylor, Andrew Dunstan Wednesday.Team 3: Tony Sharpe, Emily Ray and Nicky Condon. For more information see www.peregiantennisclub.com.au.
