Mountain crown up for grabs

ENTRIES are now open for the 2015 King of the Mountain challenge that will be held on Sunday 26 July.
Spaces are limited this year with only 100 entrants accepted into the gruelling mountain climb race that sees competitors climb the almost vertical mountain face of Mount Cooroora.
Event organisers are encouraging people with “an immunity to fear”, strength, agility and a good sense of balance to get in quick and secure their position in this year’s challenge.
The Wimmers King of the Mountain festival is held in Pomona and is an all-day event full of family fun such as the family fun run, tug of war, skate park jam session and live music and food stalls.
To register for the King of the Mountain challenge or for more information, visit www.kingofthemountain.com.au.
