Pride in their work

THE Rotary Club of Noosa recognised five outstanding local employees for taking pride in their work last Monday.
Ted Irvine of Ironman Asia, Adrienne Webb of Morgan’s Financial Ltd., Dr David Henshaw of Noosa Hospital, Molly Smith from The Boat House and Steve Heim of Unity Water were all acknowedged by their collegues for their dedication, passion and ongoing value to their propestive positions at the Club’s Pride of Work Awards night.
The accolades were given out at Tewantin Noosa RSL Club, with about 60 people in attendance.
Noosa Rotary Club president Paul Porter said the program’s objectives were to promote vocational values, provide an opportunity for employers to publicly recognise employees delivering work ethics, encourage favourable employer/employee relationships and a sense of community pride in individual achievement and encourage involvement between Rotary and the business community.
Deputy mayor Bob Abbott was present at the evening, responsible for handing out the special awards.
