Inaugural ‘Masters’ golf day

Noosa Rugby Union grounds are being converted into a golf course. But before you launch a protest – it’s only temporary!

Dolphin Old boys Rugby Union members are holding a fundraising golf day on February 8 and will be converting the grounds into a makeshift nine-hole par three golf course. The day will consist of an 18-hole (two rounds) competition with each hole sponsored by a local business and a prize at each hole for nearest to the pin. The money raised will go towards supporting the Club and players. DATE: Saturday, February 8 VENUE: Noosa Dolphins Rugby Union club, Sunshine Beach TIME: Registration from 10am; shot gun start 11am COST: $35 per player includes 18 holes of golf, a beer/wine and sausage sandwich before play and a beer/wine and steak sandwich at conclusion of play. Beer/wine/mixers will be available for purchase from the Dolphins drinks cart during the round. NTP and random draw prizes. Early bird booking for group of four $120.
