Savings in a tint

DID you know that tinting the windows at home or the office can save up to 30 per cent on energy bills, all year round?
One of the major sources of heat gain in summer and heat loss in winter is windows. Window tint acts as an insulator by blocking up to 78 per cent of the sun’s heat in summer and up to 30 per cent of your heat loss in winter, which saves you money on your heating and cooling costs.
Blinds and curtains help, however window tint stops the heat before it enters the room while still allowing you to enjoy your view. If fact, tinting those windows cuts up to 93 per cent of glare, giving a crystal clear view of the surroundings.
Some other benefits of tinting home windows include extra protection for furniture and floor covers with 99 per cent of damaging UV rays blocked by window tint, as well as added privacy with lower visibility from the outside in.
Tint-a-Car have a large range of tint colours; from very dark for extra privacy to near crystal clear for the perfect view. For the creative, they have frosted, decorative and even bright-coloured films.
Tint-a-Car Noosa at 1/122 Eumundi Road, Noosaville, services the communities of the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland.
