Kings of comedy

GET ready to really laugh out loud when award-winning comedian Michael Bennett comes to the Sunshine Beach Surf Club on 6 June.
Proudly presented by the Sit Down Comedy Club, Bennett will steal that show with his electrifying charisma, wide-eyed persona and witty one-liners.
Bennett is well-known in Queensland for his Make Mike show at Movie World, Gold Coast, as well as many TV appearances including the Comedy Channel’s Stand-up Australia.
After what some may call a late start at the age of 36, Bennett pins his success on being young at heart and having a desire to never grow up.
But the laughs don’t stop there, with Nick Jones and one of Australia’s rising comedic stars Damien Porter, supporting the main act.
Porter has enjoyed sold out shows around Australia and was selected by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to perform in their exclusive showcase of emerging comedians, The Comedy Zone.
Last, but not least, Jones will leave you all laughed out with his punchy, energetic array of twisted punch lines and hilarious observations.
Jones’s three-year stint as host of the In Stitches comedy segment of Chaos TV had him working alongside guests such as Rove and Wil Anderson.
With three of the funniest guys to hit the Sunshine Coast, this show is sure to sell out.
Tickets are available now at only $12.50 for non-members and $15 for member for the 6 June show at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club, located on the corner of Belmore Terrace and Duke Street, Sunshine Beach.
Phone 5447 5491 to secure you seat or to make a dinner reservation, available from 6pm.
