Kids and parents in festive mood

The sun shone as did the smiles from the very beginning of the Pengari Children’s Festival last weekend. To kick things off, teachers sang for the crowd, highlighting the harmonious faculty.
One parent, Arzu Cleary summed it up best by saying, “It was amazing to see the school come together in a celebration all we share”.
More than 3500 people enjoyed the wide variety of spaces, activities and delicious food. From the quiet and relaxing cake house and tea cosy, listening to a range of garden talks and inspiring stories, to the afternoon grooves provided by local bands Thump and Annie J and Fusion.
Some hung out in the Chai Cafe and were entertained by students performing in an open mic format, while others wandered through the beautiful grounds, following as their children found even more wondrous yet simple activities to enjoy.
Noosa Pengari Steiner School prides itself on providing an example of connected community in action and the festival aimed to provide an opportunity for guest to experience the harmony and beauty created by Steiner education.
