The very distinguished gentlemen

THE sun shone brightly for the inaugural Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride through Noosa on Sunday (27 September), with 75 well-dressed bike riders spreading awareness of prostate cancer throughout the region.
This is the first time the global event has been held on the Sunshine Coast, let alone in Noosa, with event organisers saying they were overwhelmed by the response.
Bike riders from around the world including Italy, Indonesia and America, all took to the streets on Sunday 27 September to raise money for prostate cancer research and to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Local business owner and event organiser Cameron MacGowan addressed the riders on the day and said the ride was worth it if one man on Hastings Street decided to get checked for prostate cancer.
Cameron led riders through Hastings Street, down to Coolum and then back up the coast road to Hastings Street where they celebrated with a very dapper morning tea, silent auction and live music to raise funds for prostate cancer research.
