A beautiful wreath to remember the fallen.

Anzac100 Years 375x120

AT 9AM on Friday 24 April, students and staff of Noosa Christian College, Cooroy, came together to hold a special Anzac Memorial Service on campus.
Joined by Light Horsemen Mr Chad Monroe and Ms Janet Kake, students were addressed by Mr Jim Jorgensen from Cooroy who served for many years in the army.
Following his address, 27 students wearing RSL Community Link Badges for those soldiers fallen in WWI from the Cooroy district – stood in silence. A beautiful wreath was laid under the Australian flag and the whole assembly paused for a minute’s silence to remember the brave lives of all Anzac men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. A prayer of thanksgiving was shared to close the service.
Lest we Forget.
