Keeper Emily stars for Eagles

By Bek Petrie

NOOSA EAGLES
It was an exciting game for the Under 6 team who all played a great game against Caloundra Black. The score was 3-1 to Caloundra, with Myles scoring right before the whistle blew. Eagles’ team captain Emily won player of the match for her outstanding saves as goal keeper in the first half. Well done Emily!
The Noosa Under 7 Gold team played an exciting and equally challenging match against Caloundra Black in an away game this weekend. Once again our team showed their improving strength, skill and determination despite the 2-1 score going against our favour. Congratulations to Zain Liddell, our only goal scorer, who strongly put one past Caloundra’s keeper. A special mention to Ryan Atkinson for his great attacking game and Ryan Curtis for his phenomenal job in goals.
What an exciting game to watch as the Under 9 Black fought a competitive match again, against Caloundra Black. With players absent, each member of the team played a great game working well together. Thank you to Myles for joining the Under 9s this week. Score was 4-8 to Caloundra but a huge congratulations to Rohnan for his outstanding play scoring all four goals for his team. His great efforts got him player of the match.
The Under 10 Noosa Black team played a fantastic match against Buderim this week, winning 4-0. Keiran Dow was once again the top try scorer, putting away two of the four goals. Alaska Rosenkranz and Isaac Benjamin also scored. Great display of teamwork this week. Well done, team.
